Dreamy Book Cover Tag

Happy Thursday book friends!! We hope everyone is having a good week and has read lots of good books!

This is our first ever BOOK TAG and we could not be more excited!!!

Thank you so so so much to Jenna @Bookmark Your Thoughts for tagging us!!! We are excited to get more of these types of tags in the future, as they are a lot of fun! Jenna has a beautiful blog, so do yourself a favor and go check it out for yourself!

Creator & Rules

The creator of this tag is Tiana @The Book Raven! And the rules are as follows:

  • Thank the lovely person who tagged you, spread the love!
  • Mention Tiana @The Book Raven as the lovely creator of this book tag!
  • Use the original tag image in your post. (However, feel free to add whatever other graphics your heart desires!)
  • Tag at least 1 fellow blogger for this tag. Even if you’re like me sometimes and feel a bit lazy!
  • List the rules

“No Ideas But in Things”
A book cover that perfectly expresses the novel inside it

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

This cover is stunning and truly captures what this story is about! The darkness on the cover truly encompasses the dark magic within the pages. This series is really well written, and highly recommended!

“Dark and Lovely”
A book cover that is creepalicious you just want to eat it up

The Waste Lands by Stephen King

We are pretty sure you could choose any Stephen King novel and it is likely to fit this prompt. We chose this one for the dark cover and the true creep factor!

“Sugary Sweet”
A cute cover that is so fluffy you want to give it a hug

A Sweet Mess by Jayci Lee

What more could you ask for out of a Sugary Sweet prompt? This book seems like it will be as light and fluffy as the cake on its cover!

“The Simple Aesthetic”
A book cover that stuns with the most minimalist of design

What Is Missing by Michael Frank

Welp, it doesn’t get much more minimalist than this. It is such a simple, yet appealing cover.

“Cover Envy”
A book cover you wish you had on your shelves, but don’t
YET

The Raven and the Dove by Kaitlyn Davis

We are actually quite shocked that with our buying tendencies that neither one of us has purchased this book, solely just from this stunning cover. We cannot promise that we won’t have purchased this by the time this blog post has been published though!

“Traveling abroad”
A beautiful book cover featuring a country outside of your own

The Paris Orphan by Natasha Lester

We both enjoy a good historical fiction and tend to lean towards WWII time frame. So it was only fitting to choose a simple, yet beautiful cover from that genre!

“The Color Wheel”
A cover that showcases one of your favorite colors

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

What’s not to love about this cover? It is quirky and fun and promises a great read within! Not to mention, it features our favorite color MINT!

“Switching Gears”
A Cover change you absolutely adore

We both tend to enjoy covers that don’t have real people on them. So it is easy to see why we love the redesign on Jenny Han’s Summer trilogy!

“Oldie but goodie”
A favorite cover of your favorite classic

The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne

This book first introduced me to prejudice and feminism. For a book written in the 1850s, I loved how he wrote Hester as a character. She was honest with herself and owned up to her actions. I absolutely love the Barnes and Noble cover for this book and highly recommend

– Thi

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

I chose The Hobbit as my favorite classic. I use to reread this every year back in middle school and high school. It has been awhile, I think it might be time for another reread! And how gorgeous is this anniversary edition?

-Christie

“And the Winner is…”
Which book cover mentioned above is your favorite?

Tagging you!!!

This was such a fun book tag for us to do on our first go at this!!! So now we want to pass the fun along!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by our blog. We truly appreciate you all!!

  1. YAY ! I’M SO GLAD YOU DECIDED TO PARTICIPATE! And thank you for the compliments! You’re both too sweet! ❤

I really love those Jenny Han book covers! I also haven't read that series, so maybe I'll try it out this summer! I also really love that version of The Hobbit cover. Great post, you two!
